Are your brand and trademarks someone else’s Twitter ID?

    © Cheryl Hodgson 2009 | Posted on May 4, 2009

Are you monitoring your personal names, brands, and trademarks in the social networking phenomena?  Last month, someone in Germany adopted our client's brand together with the word "affiliate" as a Twitter ID.  The dilemma gave an entire new meaning to brand protection!  "In E Marketing, it's all about the brand."

If you'd like to follow me, my Twitter Id is Ebrandingqueen. While the Tweet Deck is a bit annoying, we are doing our best to be on deck to learn what you need to know about brand protection in Web 2.0

Are you following us? If not, join the fun or tell us what you want to hear so that you will learn to love and adore us.  Send us your comments.

      Hi Cheryl,
Good point on Twitter. We just launch our web page there and we were lucky the name that you helped me secure was not taken. Your blog looks amazing, it has all the powers! Keep going, you rock.
